APPLIED NUTRITION Cream of Rice

Applied Nutrition Cream of Rice

A clean-source complex carb snacks option built around easy-digesting cream of rice — designed for lifters, endurance athletes, bodybuilders prepping for competition, and active adults who want a smooth, stomach-friendly carb source that fuels training and recovery without bloating or digestive distress. Particularly suited to those running structured macros where exact carb dosing matters, athletes who can't tolerate the gluten or fibre load in traditional pre-workout oats, bodybuilders in peak week or contest prep when carb manipulation is critical, and anyone wanting a versatile carb base they can flavour and use across multiple meal contexts.

What separates Applied Nutrition Cream of Rice from the typical carb supplement on the market comes down to source quality, digestibility, and texture. Cream of rice is made from finely-milled rice — easier on the stomach than oats, gluten-free by nature, and significantly less bulky in volume than wholegrain alternatives. This matters because heavy carb meals before training often cause bloating and gut distress, which can wreck performance. Cream of rice solves this: smooth, easy-digesting, and delivering a clean complex carbohydrate hit without the fibre load that slows absorption in pre-workout windows. The format is also genuinely versatile — it can be prepared sweet (with banana, berries, nut butter, or honey) or savoury (as a rice-pudding alternative or carb base for bulking meals), making it a more practical staple than single-purpose mass gainers. Vegan-friendly. Particularly useful for those whose carb heavy snacks options have been limited to bananas, dates, or basic rice — this delivers a more controlled, measurable form of complex carbohydrates suitable for serious nutrition tracking.

Applied Nutrition manufactures Cream of Rice in the UK in facilities certified to GMP standards, with rigorous quality control across the range. Note: this specific product is not Informed-Sport certified — competing tested-pool athletes should always check the most current ingredient panel against their governing body's banned-substance list before use; for everyone else, Applied Nutrition's manufacturing pedigree as a leading UK sports nutrition brand makes this one of the more credible options in the daily carbohydrate snack category.
